This Semi Final game vs. South Summit is one of my all time favorites and an instant classic. Wow did the guys play. It had all the elements of greatness. Great characters, great players and great stories. From feeling like we had unfinished business from our quarter final loss 4 years ago to South Summitt, to great inside stuff like Dallin Holt getting into Beau Rydalches head about 'flopping' ("Do you flop like this all the time?".....) and it touted the 2 leading scorers in the game this year. It had a great over time finish and everything. The game was a beauty to behold. I had a smile on my face the whole game. When the Wildcats tied it up to send the game to overtime I laughed and knew we had this the 'overtime was our time'. One of my favorite moments was in that overtime. Koden Hunt was fouled. From the second he was fouled the look of determination on his face was priceless. It was his 'game face' man. You knew those shots were going down.
All these guys were icemen from the line. To be in this kind of a game and to play with the confidence and effort they did. It was beautiful.
Most of all winning this game was a realization of a dream, a pact that these young men made over a year ago that they would work hard and do all they could in the off season personally and as a group to get to the State Championship game. It became reality. That is something extraordinary.

A little wisdom from the ultimate Baller before the game!
How big was Dallin Holt? He kept Rydalch to 13 pts, rebounded the lights out. He was phenomonal all tournament he put it all out there. He out worked, out hustled, he was out right a huge factor in these finals.

They did it! Living the Dream. The Dream becomes reality. They will play W.A. for a state Championship.
