Captain Dallin Holt said it best when referring to Koden Hunt's buzzer beater to beat Snow Canyon last night, "it's what we all did up to that point that got us to that shot and the win." So true. Everyone of the guys played a roll and did great work to stun the Warriors. From Travis D. playing huge against their big man, who was really big..., to Guard play Ricky, Connor, Kode (mayhem, Piranha ... whatever you want to call them) Isaac & Jake huge from outside raining from 3pt land, Justin & Dallin Holt taking care of business offensively & defensively (How bout' Justin from the foul line) and the rest of the team and fans cheering their hearts out. It was a beautiful TEAM effort.
So what about 'the shot'? As soon as it left his hands who didn't know that it wouldn't go in? If you know Kode, who takes 500 shot's a day. Larry B said he watched Koden's face on the drive leading up to the shot. It was Koden's 'game face'. It was going down. Coach Smith said he's seen Kode make that shot 100 times in practice. Just another shot for Koden? Sure. I'm glad he took just another shot at the buzzer!!
