2016 Senior Night EHS vs South Sevier

Every year it gets harder to say goodbye to our seniors and the season... We have great young men. This year is no exception. Clay Whitman and Captain Michael Dougherty are just the best of the best. We are so proud of them and there effort and work on and off the court. This year Clay will also be honored as a member of the academic all state team during the tournament in Richfield. This is an amazing accomplishment. Way to go Clay. Michael Dougherty  has been a part of this team for 4 years. He has been a leader and a force for good the entire time and he also will be greatly missed. I remember a couple of years ago seeing Mike show great compassion as we delivered some sub for Santa gifts in a remote area to a family. He got right in and interacted and made the kids and the family so happy.
Both these young men will give their best to whatever is next on their life journey. Can't wait to see and hear about it. "life is a series of never ending ascensions..."  Anson Dorrance

As far as the game... I was proud of the guys.  We had a few really sick kids. They battled but couldn't hang on to the win. I feel if we had everybody able to play and feeling well the outcome would have been quite different. But, thus is life and we learn from every experience and scenario.
It looks like we will go into our play in game, 3rd place and play Waterford. I think it is fortuitous that we have played them and that we will do well. The guys will give it all they got for sure!
Enjoy our picrues of Senior night, Honoring Coach Duane Wallin for just being the remarkable Coach and human being he is and the game.
