Warriors Win the Wolves

I don't know who reads this if any... A few thoughts at the moment. I have loved taking pictures through the years. It helps me on a variety of levels personally. It also allows me to see faces, capture moments etc. For the most part through the years this experience has inspired me.  Last night was one of those nights.
First of all Roosevelts 'Man in the Arena' speech came to mind:
"It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat."
When I see Caden Prisbrey diving for a ball in the fourth quarter when I know he's sick, When I see Jayson Holt reverse pivot on a defensive stand under the basket and run extend to best of his ability to closeout at the 3 pt line, when I see our bigs battle against their really bigs, when I hear Captain Mike Dougherty say to his team after the game we need to learn from this and move forward, when I see a bench fully engaged in what is going on, on the floor, each giving their best to the end regardless of the score and then when the team is asked why do we play these tough games now they respond with clarity that tough pre seasons help us prepare for our region, state tournament etc.  
OH, Did you see Jay helping everyone get their groove on?
What this kind of attitude, leadership, example translates to this season remains to be seen. I do foresee years hence good men, good fathers, good whatever they end up doing; when they are 0-6 in any situation, keeping their heads up, "learning from this and moving forward". Smiling, dancing.
They are in the arena... Whomever and wherever the sideline critics of life are and will be,I believe our guys will  'strive valiantly, when they come short they'll try again, be spent in a worthy cause...know the triumph of achievement and will be able to say no matter what they dared greatly.'
Definitely inspiring...
