It was quite a preview this year. Exiting times! Friday night we played North Sevier and held a lead most of the game and then gave it up in the end. It was game we could have and should have won. That is what makes it hard when we are not on top at the end in that type of game. There was a ton learned though.
Manti was interesting. The guys battled in the first half a very physical team. We lost our composure in the 2nd. There was a lot to learn from Manti. They are a hustlin bunch of kids. They played with confidence and shot %77 from the field in the second half. I hope the guys realize as they focus on each possession and being present, they can do the same. Manti is a team we can play with. We showed that in the first half. We need to put together 4 full quarters.
The JV team beat their game vs. North Sevier and they just about got South Sevier. These games were fun to watch.
