We Met the Wolves!

We met all the winter sports students at "Meet the Wolves" last evening and after our Team and Boosters put on a great spread. We really appreciate the support and help of parents, the school, our administration and staff and the community.
Our boys played a fun competitive game and ended up with a tie after 10 min. of running clock.  The best part about it was they play on the same team. This next Tuesday November 25th the team has their first game up in Richfield. It is the "Hall of Fame" exhibition. Our boys will play the 1A state champs Monticello at 4pm at SVC.

2A vs 1A All Star Game.... 2A Crushes....

This past Saturday the Annual 2A vs 1A all star game sponsored by the Monroe Lions club took place.  Coach Shurtliff, Coach Smith and Coach Rhet Parsons coached the 2A all stars.  They put together a team of stand out's from across the state in 2A.  It was so fun to see these former rivals have the best time hanging out together and playing together.  Coach Shurtliff and Smith said before the game that these guys would have fun if they played individual ball which often happens in all star games, but if this crew played together it would be 'Showtime'! Well................ It was SHOWTIME! What a game is all I can say.  I can't imagine how fun it would have been to be playing in the game, but watching it was true joy!. The last 4 of 5 years 1A beat 2A. 2A was the decided Victor.
Justin Prisbrey was the slam dunk winner and saved his best dunk for the half time entertainment of the game.  Justin was also the MVP.
It was an honor for the Enterprise coaches to be asked to coach both the girls and boys all star games.
The Boys team:
Justin Prisbrey: Enterprise
Bailey Faimalo: Emery
Joel Martinez: Merit
Beau Rydalch: South Summit
Brad Richins: South Summit
Jeffrey Robinson: Millard
Caleb Murphy: Parowan
Logan Smith: Delta
Kaz Mogle: Gunnison
Bo Gentry: South Sevier
(*Dallin Holt was invited to play but due to his tonsillectomy that took place the day before this game he wasn't able to participate.  He would have been awesome and had so much fun. )

Here are some pics from the event.

I like this shot because it shows the work away from the ball

This picture doesn't do the dunk Justice...... It was really good. The announcer said after Justin's dunk "well,  that will be the end of that." (contest over....)

I left the score in this one. It was the beginning of the 3rd.

 'Murph' skies

This shot from the corner by Joel Martinez was awesome and nothing but net. He was angeled behind the backboard.

This was the beginning of the 4th.  I probably shouldn't put this in here but it was like you would look at the score board and go wow!  I won't put the final score....

Bailey Faimalo... He had a ton of assists.  He is a great point guard
