The Eagles Landed

Tough loss versus Millard last Friday.  The stratagem was to super sag and take care of the 6'10" Swallow fellow and make them beat us from outside.  Well they beat us from the outside.  Headband man, number 21 had the game of his life and as a team Millard was nearly 70% from the field.  In the third quarter they were 9 for 12.  So you gotta hand it to them they did what they needed to do. Our guys worked hard, defended well, but didn't have nearly the shooting percentage. 
We will work hard this week and take it to Beaver on Friday. 
The Freshman and J.V. games were fun wins too.

Road Warriors! The Wolvea Take Care of Kanab on the Road

Fun games in Kanab last night! So proud of our guys and how hard they are working and how they are improving.  The game was a complete team effort.  The whole thing was just fun.  I thanked the guys for the fun.
Our third quarter in particular was awesome from start to finish and the finish was spectacular with Jason Farnsworths last second shot at the buzzer.
With all that is going on in life it is so nice to see great young people who work so hard to become better on and off the floor.  You're all my heroes!

Heartbreak to the Beavah, Beavahs but Pummelled Parowan

We let Beaver pull it out this past Wednesday and then took it to the Rams Friday for our first Region Win.  It was clear after Friday's game that we have what it takes to finish out the season well.  The guys played well and kept their poise in Friday night's game.  All three teams won.  It is really fun to watch them play. It was a tremendous thing to see the great support not only at home but at Parowan. There is a picture further down that shows how many came.  I am confident that we had more support there for our team then they did in their own home gym.  Thank you thank you.  I know it means so much to these boys and makes a huge difference.  We are all a great team!
